The Optoelectronics Company is delighted to announce that Ushio SEMICONDUCTORS, INC. (UOS), a global provider of optical devices, subsidiary company of Ushio INC., has introduced HL40033G, a High Power 405nm,1W Violet Laser Diode for Industrial Applications.
Background
Current, biomedical and direct imaging system manufacturers are using solid state laser diodes that are large in size and consume tremendous amounts of power. These systems now require higher speed drawing as well as lower power consumption. Today, UOS releases the HL40033G, 1W violet laser diode to provide the solution of system size and power reduction for our customers.

Features
The HL40033G violet laser diode offers 1W high optical output power in a f9.0mm package with typical operating current of 900mA and operating voltage of 5.0V. The HL40033G is in mass production.
