Ushio begins mass production of 850nm 250mW infrared laser diodes with a wide temperature range from -40°C to 75°C
Ushio has begun mass production and shipment of the new HL85022MG series laser diodes which are characterised by high power, high efficiency and excellent beam quality with extended operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C which enables the HL85022MG series to be used in a wide range of applications in both extremely cold and hot environments.
Infrared laser diodes in the 800nm range are commonly used as light sources for infrared illumination applications such as night vision devices, distance measurement sensors such as ToF (*Time of Flight) triangulation and 3D sensing. The demand for accurate measurement over long distances in any environment has increased recently.
Due to customer feedback, Ushio has further increased the output power and efficiency while maintaining excellent beam quality. Mass production and shipment of the HL85022MG series laser diodes commenced in November 2023.
